The Zodiac Super Sea Wolf, launched in the 1970s as a sturdy version of the original Sea-Wolf, became popular among military, professional divers, and sport diving enthusiasts for its reliability, readability, and affordability. The ref. 872-843 features a 43.5mm stainless steel case, chronograph, uni-directional bezel, tachymeter, luminescent markers, and unique design. The watch is in great vintage condition with some visible wear on the case, including surface marks and scratches but no major dents. The bezel insert shows no signs of cracking or delamination. The original matte dial is in great shape, with minor signs of aging on the white surfaces, including the edges and subdials. The luminous hands have aged differently from the dial. There's a chip/scratch on the crystal at around 10:30. The watch comes with a bracelet containing 13 links, suitable for a 7 3/4" wrist. It is currently running, but service history is unknown and service should be performed as watch has been unused for decades.
This watch comes as a complete, full set with both inner and outer boxes, price tag, instruction manual and guarantee (originally sold in San Pedro, California in Christmas 1974) and instruction booklet!
